The Kim Kardashian-created brand, SKIMS, is launching its first venture into menswear. The reality star turned business mogul has brought along some recognizable faces to show off the latest collection. Here's everything to know about what to expect from the SKIMS men's collection.
Since its debut, SKIMS has become a force in the fashion industry. The brand has focused on creating comfortable and wearable clothes for people of all different body types. The four-year-old business received a $4 billion evaluation earlier this year, and it's showing no signs of slowing down. While it's been focused on creating leisurewear, shapewear, and underwear for women, Kardashian's brand has announced its latest release will be heading in a different direction. They will be launching a menswear collection. The range will include briefs, boxers, leggings, and undershirts. The sizing will vary from XS to 5X, meaning anyone who wants to wear SKIMS can find the right size for their body type. The announcement came along with some familiar faces, too.
Soccer legend Neymar, NFL lineman Nick Bosa, and NBA star Shai Gilgeous-Alexander were featured in the campaign. The athletes showed off the durability, flexibility, and fit of the new menswear line through testimonials, videos, and photographs. The line was designed to be "rooted in comfort, fit and superior movement," according to the press release. Kim Kardashian, the brand's founder and creative director, said in a press release, "The expansion into the menswear space is a major milestone for the brand, and a testament to SKIMS' commitment to providing solutions for everybody. I am incredibly excited about this next chapter for SKIMS and cannot wait for everyone to experience our amazing range of products." This isn't the first time that Kardashian has used her famous friends to promote her brand. Previous collection launches have been modeled by comedian Chelsea Handler, singer Cardi B, and model Brooke Shields, just to namedrop a few.
