Gucci Launches Travel Campaign With Kendall Jenner and Bad Bunny
| LAST UPDATE 10/02/2023
As one Instagram user said, "The devil works hard, but Mama Kris works harder." Kendall Jenner teams up with rumored boyfriend and Puerto Rican rapper Bad Bunny to become the new faces of Gucci's latest travel bag campaign through their luxury bag brand website, Gucci Valigeria. The campaign "explores the intimacy of traveling together," people were surprised to see the unofficial couple make things official through a fashion campaign.
Gucci's latest travel campaign showcases various luggage options, from the iconic GG Supreme Duffle to different duffle bags, suitcases, and more. Photographer Anthony Seklaoui captured the 'King of Latin Pop' hugging The Kardashians reality star from behind, and she has an enormous smile plastered on her face. In the second released photograph, Kendall and Bad Bunny step off an escalator in head-to-toe Gucci drip. Bad Bunny is carrying a GQ Supreme Duffle Bag (being sold for $3850), while Kendall is taking the Gucci Savoy trolley (sold for $3890). In another short clip released to Instagram via the Gucci handle, Kendall and Bad Bunny walk speedily through an airport while holding their fashionable new circular and duffle bags.
Gucci released a statement explaining the creative process behind the latest campaign. "Expressed through historic craftsmanship and codes, the collection echoes the House's 102-year vision of travel, which began in Florence after founder Guccio Gucci returned from London, where he worked as a porter at The Savoy hotel." Gucci's campaign will also feature new designs with fluorescent leather accents and embossed GG rubberized leather while paying homage to its heritage and ushering in a new era of adventurous luxury travel.

The latest campaign isn't the first time Gucci has employed a famous face to push forward their travel luggage. Just last year, Ryan Gosling was the face of Gucci's 'The Magic of Travel': "Ryan Gosling traverses time and space, setting off from a motel to the beach, and coming across the unknown." Naturally, it went viral and, if the quality of the product and fame of the campaign’s figureheads have anything to do with it, this campaign will likely blow up too. If you have a couple grand to spend and your priorities set straight, you can shop the collection now on the Gucci website.
