These shoes are mind-blowing. 🤯

Since teaming up with Nike for the Air Max 1/97, currently reselling for around $1,500 on StockX, Round Two Vintage owner Sean Wotherspoon has become one of the most talked-about designers in the shoe game.

For his next highly-anticipated footwear collab, this time with New York sneaker boutique Atmos and Japanese athletic company ASICS, a global release date of Friday, Aug, 7th, has finally been shared.

Celebrating the 30th anniversary of ASICS' GEL-LYTE III, the one of a kind kicks are made of Wotherspoon's preferred corduroy material and come with interchangeable Onitsuka Tiger stripes. But that's not even the craziest part, as the left and right shoes offer totally different colorways.

Purple on the toebox, deep navy blue across the upper, a light green tongue and collar, and a dark brown and red heel flanking the left foot are meant to give nod toward Japan. Across the brighter right foot are Los Angeles-inspired hues, like orange, powder blue, light gray, and teal and yellow.

While the sneakers are the apple of every hypebeast's eye, Atmos-branded tie-dye and solid color tees with the "O" replaced by Wotherspoon's personal peace sign logo, as well as a small zip-up bag with a shoulder strap and a larger tote bag, will be included in the drop as a capsule.

The GEL-LYTE III and accompanying apparel will be available at the Atmos store in Harlem, NY, and stores like UBIQ and Footpatrol. You can also keep an eye on any buying opportunities via StockX.

Wotherspoon won't have too much time to revel in his ASICS x Atmos release. He has to finish prepping these flowery, vegan Adidas Superstars above from the pair's upcoming SuperEarth line.
