Cincinnati Bengals QB Joe Burrow shocked the world when he led the Bengals to an upset over the Kansas City Chiefs in the AFC Championship, earning the franchise its first Super Bowl berth since 1988.

The 25-year-old surprised a lot of people when he shouted out Cudi as one of his "idols" during the postgame press conference, saying, "One of my idols, Kid Cudi, reached out to me yesterday. You got LeBron tweeting at me. That part is surreal, the football part not so much. That stuff is crazy."

Cudi then responded with a happy tweet: "Man this has to be the illest s**t ever. Beautiful f****n' game today brother!!"

Asked what he listens to get hyped up before games back in April 2020, Burrow kept it all the way real about his fellow Ohioan: "I listen to strictly Kid Cudi pregame. 'New York City Rage Fest,' 'Soundtrack 2 My Life,' 'Up Up & Away.' All that good stuff from old Cudi."

He added in that same recent press conference, "I like all of his stuff."

Cudi's been appreciative of Burrow for a minute. After he was selected #1 overall in the 2020 Draft, the Ohio-bred "man on the moon" shared a personalized video showing love.

"Just wanted to say it means so much that you chose me as your favorite artist, man. That means the most. Thank you, mad love. And congratulations on being the number one draft pick. That's wild, that's crazy. You're on your way. You're just getting started, brother!" he said.

Cudi later revealed that Burrow gifted him his game-worn jersey from the game against the Chiefs. "I hit Joe and congratulated him and asked if I could have his jersey," Cudi tweeted. "He said yes and sent it right away. Rockin' this b***h to [the Super Bowl] and then framing it. I am so geeked right now."

Burrow appears to be a fan of Lil Baby, too. "Cartier glasses I won't even peek at you," he captioned the below shot where he's wearing his new favorite pair of Cartier Buff sunglasses, nodding to Baby's line on his 7x Platinum 2018 collab "Yes Indeed" featuring Drake and Gunna.

"Yellow Ferrari like Pikachu!" is how the rest of the line goes.

The Bengals will battle the Los Angeles Rams in LA this Sunday night.
