Drake made headlines last month when a news chopper spotted him with a woman named Johanna Leia at Dodger Stadium, which he had rented out for a lavish date
Well, Johanna's son, Amari Bailey, appears to already be benefitting from their romance after Drake bought him a custom chain.
Amari offered his 424,000 IG followers a first look at his new drip. Alongside the OVO owl logo sits a diamond "10," a nod to Amari's jersey number in basketball. (He's listening to Kodak Black's "Senseless" in the clip below.)
According to ESPN, the 17-year-old Amari is the #1 ranked player in the nation for the 2022 class, ahead of Keyonte George from Texas and Chris Livingston from LeBron James' hometown of Akron, Ohio.
Standing at 6'5", Amari, who plays guard, is teammates with LeBron's son, Bronny, at Sierra Canyon High in Los Angeles, and is committed to UCLA.
As the clip spread, the common narrative was that Drake is turning into Amari's unofficial "stepdad." One person wrote, "I feel like knowing your momma about to get an interlude named after her is nuts." Facts!
Of course, Drizzy already has a 3-year-old son, Adonis, who's growing up fast. He posted a couple of unseen photos of Adonis, including one where he's rocking fresh braids and another where he's wearing a potential collab between Travis Scott and Young Thug's Spider Worldwide apparel brand.
You love to see it!
