While buzzing rapper Yeat has yet to land a chart-topping album, he's already talking trash like a proven superstar. In a leaked DM, he shared a bold prediction about NAV and their competing new releases.

Both Yeat and NAV are getting ready to drop fresh projects this coming Friday, Sept. 9th. 'Lyfë' will be Yeat's second effort this year following '2 Alivë' in February. For NAV, it's been over two years since his last album 'Good Intentions,' which made a strong #1 debut on the Billboard 200.

Yeat is aware he'll be battling against NAV for streams and attention, but he doesn't seem too worried about being overshadowed. In a screenshot sourced by Akademiks and other blog pages, the 22-year-old allegedly told his friend, "I'ma s**t on his album c'mon." Damn!

It didn't take long for Yeat to address the alleged DMs in a note to his 1.6 million IG followers: "Y'all krazy bout dat klout s**t … me n Nav got hits on tha way." Rather than spark a feud, the moment seemed to bring the two trendsetting artists closer. They started following each other on IG!

One fan wondered if Lil Uzi could bridge the gap between Yeat and NAV. Uzi has deep ties to both, whether appearing on Yeat's booming track "Big Tonka" or arguing why NAV is a genius during a stream with Adin Ross.

Uzi even went as far as to say, "NAV never dropped a bad project." (Having dropped six tracks alongside NAV since 2017, Uzi is biased but also familiar with his personality, saying he's not an "extra n***a.")

Whatever happens, it's tough to deny the hype surrounding Yeat. His unofficial theme song "Rich Minion" for the latest Minions movie helped ignite the #Gentleminions craze in theaters across the world. Plus, his single "Talk" is going crazy online with its haunting beat and wild flows.

He raps, "Huh, riding in that, big ass lil' Tonka truck / Riding 'round with these bust-down watches on me, I got my blicky tucked!"
