Travis Scott and the JACKBOYS have shared the video for "OUT WEST (feat. Young Thug)," a standout slapper off their recent self-titled group project.
Co-directed by Travis' label imprint, Cactus Jack, as well as the collective White Trash Tyler, the rambunctious video captures Travis, Thug and the JACKBOYS turning up at a house party. Travis kicks off the video in a more laidback mood, though, playing video games and talking on the phone, a couple cans of Cactus Jack soda by his side.
Once we find ourselves inside the function, we see someone tumbling down the stairs, another person skating in the house and a bunch of attendees crowding the dance floor.
Thugger raps his verse while standing on a couch and surrounded by too many females to count. Later, Travis uses some money as a makeshift fan and unleashes alongside his Cactus Jack team, including Sheck Wes, Don Toliver and longtime DJ Chase B.
One of the best parts of the video features 21 Savage picking up an intruder and throwing him through a table. Another notable cameo comes from the legendary producer Quincy Jones.
While the vibe of this visual is anti-quarantine, Travis has been practicing his own version of social distancing recently.
On Friday, the 27-year-old artist shared a few clips of him locked in the studio making beats. We can see him bobbing his head and experimenting with different loops, like a vocal sample backed by some drums.
It's no secret that La Flame is an accomplished producer and has shaped his own lane in hip-hop, but this fact didn't prevent some people from clowning the second instrumental he was putting together. 🤣
Travis has had a busy couple of weeks outside of dropping a video and working on new music.
On March 13, Don Toliver, his lead artist on Cactus Jack, released his debut album, Heaven or Hell. That same day, Travis made a guest appearance on Jay Electronica's long-awaited debut album, A Written Testimony, singing alongside not only Jay Elec, but Jay-Z.
Trav is heating up! 😱
