Drake's dance-friendly "Toosie Slide" has arrived with a quarantine-inspired visual that doubles as a tour of his crib in Toronto. 🕺

As the clock hit midnight on Friday, Drake made good on his promise from earlier in the week and delivered his latest single "Toosie Slide" along with a video crafted by OVO cinematographer Theo Skudra.

A catchy, step by step instructional refrain on how to slide like Toosie, the popular hip-hop dancer who first previewed the song last weekend, is the song's cornerstone. "Got a dance, but it's really on some street sh*t," Drizzy confesses.

Here's a breakdown of the 8-move "Toosie Slide" in Drake's own words: "Right foot up, left foot slide / left foot up, right foot slide."

Watch below as Drake busts a smooth move, compares himself to Michael Jackson and guides viewers on an MTV Cribs-style walkthrough of his lavish, marble-made home.

As Daquan discussed a few days ago, the "Toosie Slide" is ripe for TikTok.

Besides involving imitable choreography, Drake attempts to make the song and shuffle more approachable for the average fan by recreating the amateur aesthetic of a homemade YouTube video. You can see that strategy presented in the iMovie-esque thumbnail above as well as the off the cuff filming style that Skudra employs.

Daquan's list of the other top 5 easter eggs in the video:

1. Early shots of empty city streets blanketed by an eerie quietness, reflecting society's current state of limbo

2. An original Andy Warhol portrait of Mao Zedong, as pointed out by Andrew Barber

3. A nod to the late Kobe Bryant when the camera pans over to his No. 8 and No. 24 Lakers jerseys lying on a table

4. Two Kith statues winking in the background as Drake hits the Toosie Slide in his foyer

5. A hint at a possible Nike collaboration when a Swoosh-branded box appears alongside paper and markers

Drake also rocks a Nike balaclava and references a Nike crossbody bag in the pre-chorus. ✅
