Denzel Curry stopped by the COLORS studio to give a wildly engaging rendition of the DMX-inspired track "DIET_" off his outstanding collaborative project with Kenny Beats, UNLOCKED.

The South Florida rapper gradually raises his energy level throughout the first verse as he rides the industrial, bouncy beat. Surrounded by a muted, slime green room, he motions his arms and recites lyrics through a pair of gold grills. Once he reaches the hook, Denzel explodes through both his voice and movement, swinging his head and arms around and channeling his inner DMX. "Get money from a show, then deposit it," he declares.

Shortly after, Denzel kicks off the second verse by lip syncing voice-altered lyrics that make him sound like a rebellious teenager transitioning into puberty. "Shoebox came with the doowop / One billion and two cops can't find 2Pac," he mimes.

As part of a larger press run, Denzel and Kenny also stopped by the Genius studio in Brooklyn to break down the making of UNLOCKED and the fan-favorite "DIET_."

In typical fashion, Kenny clowns around about the meaning behind the song title at the start of the video. "Are we dieting from politics? Are we dieting from the bullshit we have going on right now in our society? Are we dieting from just food?," he says, eliciting a laugh from Denzel.

When discussing how UNLOCKED came to fruition, Kenny gets a bit more serious. "I think that's one of the biggest takeaways with this song and the whole project is like, throw your friend a curveball and see what you get back," he says.
