Lil Yachty – "Wock In Stock"
Even though Yachty's highly anticipated Lil Boat 3 only managed to debut at number 14 on the Billboard 200, that doesn't mean the project is devoid of standout moments. "Wock In Stock" is one of those limited bright spots, and the video helps give the song new life.
Yachty's signature braids are the star of the show. From getting his hair twirled in one scene to shaking his head for a blurred, woozy effect in another, fans are reminded why Lil Boat blew up in the first place: His effortless ability to command attention all by himself.
G Herbo – "Like This (feat. Lil Uzi Vert)"
At one point, G Herbo and Lil Uzi Vert may have seemed like an unlikely duo. While Herb is known for hard-hitting, off the cuff raps, Uzi made his name with passionate croons and melodies.
But as the two expanded their styles, especially Uzi, who has often gravitated toward Herbo's safe space of drill beats, they were able to arrive at an exciting spot – "Like This."
Drowning in a deep shade of red and only illuminated by blacklight, the pair embodies an energetic, underground feel in the video. Let's hope we'll hear more Uzi Herb soon on their rumored collab tape.
SL & Kenny Beats – "Little Bird"
As mysterious as he is infectious, the 18-year-old British masked man known as SL has intrigued globalized rap fans ever since 2015 when the raw video for "Gentleman" garnered millions of views.
Ahead of his upcoming project SELHURST SE25, SL has linked with mega-producer Kenny Beats for the second time on "Little Bird," which comes with an all-natural video that perfectly captures SL's laidback flow and sky-high ambitions.
I mean, there aren't many people who could make a sheep pasture look this cool. (No offense to farmers.)
