After the tragic passing of PnB Rock, numerous reports suggested the murder suspects found his location using social media posts. Now, Trippie Redd is fighting rumors that his location was carelessly exposed.

Trippie was one of the biggest artists to pay tribute to PnB Rock via a sincere caption. (They collaborated on fire songs like "Do No Wrong" and "Bad Vibes Forever" with XXXTentacion.) In Trippie's opinion, record labels should even be responsible for offering security to rappers.
"I had to reschedule my whole day yesterday I was at a true loss for words. I keep losing my friends to gun violence. I want all my friends to start having a guard or 2 it honestly should be on the label to get u protection. That's one thing I used to tell [XXXTentacion] is let's stop riding around in the [BMW] i8 just me and u," he wrote.
He added, "[PnB] wasn't a selfish person either he always praised me and my friends that aren't famous working with n****s flying to us and we always bonded over the fact that we both got to make hits with XXX during his journey here."
Just a few days later, a Trippie Redd fan page exposed a friend of his girlfriend's for allegedly tagging their location in an IG Story during a trip to NYC, possibly putting him at risk. (Trippie's girl is named Skye Morales, and they've been dating for close to two years.)
Trippie then shared a video with his 13 million IG followers and addressed the rumored slip-up: "We post locations when we leave, man. I'm Redd, not green!" He also warned his many fan pages not to gossip about the people closest to him: "I'm bound to get mad so don't take it personal."
While his most popular song is titled "F**k Love," Trippie seems to be head over heels for Skye.
In an interview with Montreality, the 23-year-old explained why he admires her so much: "She has her own goals and aspirations and s**t that she like. I love to see her do what she do."
Love and loss will likely inspire elements of Trippie's next album 'A Love Letter To You 5,' which is reportedly arriving in October.
Being close to both XXXTentacion and Juice WRLD – two other trendsetting artists who passed way too soon – Trip believes they would've changed music.
