Following weeks of online chatter surrounding a potential Travis Scott x McDonald's partnership, the Golden Arches officially unveiled what's going down. The first phase, at least.
Stretching across food, fashion and community, the collab is set to launch next Tuesday, Sept. 8, with a special Travis Scott Meal at participating locations in the U.S.
What's La Flame's go-to order? A quarter pounder with cheese, bacon and lettuce, accompanied by medium fries, BBQ dipping sauce and a Sprite. The edible collection will be priced at $6 – retail, that is.
The last pop culture figure to have their name featured on McDonald's menu was Michael Jordan in 1992. Commenters were quick to imagine what kind of people would soon be lining up to cop a Travis Scott Meal.
"I couldn't be more excited to bring the Cactus Jack x McDonald’s collaboration to life," Travis said in a statement. "We are bringing together two iconic worlds. Including a charitable component was key for me, and I can't wait for people to see what we have in store."
Not only will customers be able to benefit but Travis' Cactus Jack brand will dress employees in custom drip as well. McDonald's has updated its social media logos and bios to reflect its entry into Astroworld.
