During his reality-bending Fortnite concert last night, Travis Scott made good on the promise of a new song by premiering "The Scotts" featuring an assist from Kid Cudi✌️

Earlier this week, Epic Games and Travis announced they were coming together for an "Astronomical" in-game event including a series of five performances and the sweet incentive of an unheard track. Fans had no idea just how earth-shattering the whole experience would be, though.

"The Scotts" was produced by Take A Daytrip, Dot Da Genius, and Plain Pat. Across the swaying beat that pulls mischievous elements from the Western wave heard on Travis' Days Before Rodeo and Rodeo, Travis and Cudi trade rebellion-filled verses.

In the clip below, you can see how the song was presented in Fortnite. Players glided through space dust while a Godzilla-sized Travis in an astronaut suit wandered by on top of a purple orb.

Travis and Cudi have only released one prior collaboration together as artists – 2016's "Baptized In Fire," which appeared on Cudi's Passion, Pain & Demon Slayin'.

Inspired by their shared use of the name Scott (Cudi's real name is Scott Mescudi), The Scotts doubles as the title of the duo's newly-formed group. In an interview on The Tonight Show, Travis said that Cudi was one of his main inspirations for adopting the name Scott.

Fans should also be on the lookout for more new music in the near future from these two friends and collaborators. They shared a generous snippet during a Thursday night Instagram Live session.

Adding to the significance of this latest release, KAWS, a popular artist and designer, constructed the cover art, ticking off a bucket list item for Cudi.

In conjunction with "The Scotts" and Travis' Fortnite partnership, a collection of merch appeared on his site. Since Tuesday, Fortnite players are have been able to purchase Travis-themed skins, emotes, and more.

If you missed out on the first "Astronomical" experience, don't worry. There are still four more upcoming shows.
