Joined by the legendary producer Mike Dean, the video featured an orchestra playing a spine-chillingly beautiful melody, and The Weeknd captioned it with "THE IDOL VOL. 1, coming soon (double fantasy & Jealous Guy just a taste)," and it was just what the doctor ordered! It's no secret that The Idol has been in the works for a while now, and fans have been chomping at the bit for the series premiere. Thankfully, The Weeknd has been keeping us on our toes by dropping hints and snippets, and with the inclusion of Mike Dean and other renowned artists like BLACKPINK's Jennie, Troye Sivan, Moses Sumney, Dan Levy, and Hari Nef, expectations are running high!

The rapper's unmistakable voice was featured in a song that had a captivating slinky, synth-powered beat. You can only imagine how ecstatic fans were with the revelation! In another Instagram post, we saw a blurry picture of Mike Dean playing synths in the background with a desert emoji and a question mark.
