Days before her sophomore album is set to be released, SZA released a little snippet for fans of one of the songs. Anyone else excited? Here's a closer look.

For those who forgot - SZA debuted her first album, Ctrl, in 2017 and has been topping the charts ever since. Her first album featured artists Kendrick Lamar, Travis Scott, Isaiah Rashad, and James Fauntleroy. When it was released, not only did fans fall in love with SZA and her vocals, but critics praised her. The album was nominated for four Grammy Awards and has been certified triple platinum. SZA was also nominated for Best New Artist at the Grammys, but since the debut of Ctrl, all had remained silent on when the singer’s next album will come out until recently. Her second albumS.O.S, is set to drop on December 9, and SZA has been teasing what’s to come.

The artist released a clip on YouTube that gives a behind-the-scenes look at the making of a promotional photoshoot set to the music of one of the tracks of the album titled Nobody Gets Me. Over an acoustic guitar, SZA sings the lyrics, “I don’t want to lose what’s left of you / How am I supposed to tell you / I don’t want to see you with anyone, but me / Nobody gets me like you.” This isn’t the only thing the New Jersey-grown singer has given fans. Earlier in the week, she released the official track list for the upcoming album, which includes 23 songs and multiple guest artists like Don Toliver, Phoebe Bridgers, and more. It doesn’t stop there. She posted the cover art for the album on her Instagram, which has gotten more than 3.5 million likes so far. We think every one is getting hyped for the release of her next album.

It has been five years since the release of her last album. We’re sending out an “S.O.S” for more SZA ASAP. Until then, stay tuned.
