It's been more than 2 and a half years since Ski Mask The Slump God blessed streaming services with his debut album, 'Stokeley,' selling 51,000 units in its first week and debuting at #6 on the Billboard 200.

Now, the 25-year-old is checking the temperature for his eventual sophomore album, announcing a new mixtape, 'Sin City,' coming this Friday, June 25th.

The mixtape trailer features a cameo from popular hip-hop jeweler Johnny Dang, who's designed Ski a coveted grill...and a pair of pistols. "I heard you got something for me," Ski says to Dang, covered in blood.

Back in April, Ski apologized for the wait and tweeted that he's "aiming to drop 3 projects this year," very welcome news for his loyal fanbase.

Before that, Ski Mask pulled a bit of a pump fake when he dropped the rage-ready "Burn The Hoods" along with a Lyrical Lemonade video. (Could the blood in the mixtape trailer offer some sort of plot connection?)

Though he told Complex at the time that he was "definitely dropping a whole bunch of stuff other than that" in 2020, a collab with Cordae titled "Soda" was the only thing that touched down.

There's a chance he needed some more time to process the loss of his friends XXXTentacion and Juice WRLD, as that's what first sparked his hiatus. He recently remembered when he and X rapped the lyrics to their 2017 collab track "Freddy vs. Jason" to get out of a ticket from the police.

In terms of the sound he's going for across the 3 releases, each one could lean toward a different genre. "I’ve been having fun making alternative songs," he mentioned to Complex.
