Two of the most in-demand figures in rap are opening up about their one of a kind connection. 👀

Quavo and Saweetie are hip-hop's royal couple in a new GQ feature that takes a look at their relationship of two years, from the way they met to how they've helped one another grow.

Turns out the two artists started talking when Quavo slid in her Instagram DMs after seeing an "icy" photo of her on his Explore page. His cold-blooded pick-up line? "You an icy girl, you need a glacier boy,” he wrote.

After a few months of talking on the phone, they finally set up their first date in Atlanta: dinner, a tour of the Quality Control studio, as well as a nightcap at the famous strip club Magic City. But there were a couple of bumps, like when Huncho "nearly choked to death on a crab cake."

Later, Quavo admits, "I don't let people inside my life." It's a trait he believes hurt his disappointing 2018 solo debut album, Quavo Huncho: “If I would've went a little personal, I think my album would have been a little bit better.”

But Saweetie, who recently dropped the video for her single "Pretty B***h Freestyle," is helping him become more vulnerable. “When she talk to me and when we started talking to each other, the Saweetie s**t go out the window and the Quavo s**t go out the window," he says. "I give her Quavious. I give her what my mama calls me."

As for new music and where they're both headed, Saweetie believes she's only shown "like 30 percent of what I can do." She continues, "I know what path I want to be on, and that's the f*****g megastar path."

Besides giving his girl tips on her flow, Huncho is focused on the Migos' next album, claiming, "We feel new and refreshed.”
