Quavo set social media ablaze when he tweeted out a screenshot of the fabled DM exchange that sparked his relationship with Saweetie.
Nearly matching word for word the tale Huncho relayed to GQ during a July interview, he initiated the conversation with nothing more than a snowflake emoji. Saweetie hit him back with a ramen emoji, to which Quavo later replies, "u so icy Ima glacier boy."
Boom. It's love ever after. "Straight to the point I been wanting this man," Saweetie admitted in a quote tweet. After all, she is the "ICY GRL" like her 2018 hit single suggests.
Prior to their love turning public, Saweetie called the pick-up line "hella cute" without naming Quavo in an LA Leakers interview. "Compared to everybody else [who's sliding into my DMs] that's just like, 'Yo. Wassup. Oh, you cute. Or heart eyes,' and it's just like, 'Can you come up with something cuter than that?'" she said.
It didn't take long for the moment to transform into a viral challenge, as fans took to the DMs of their crushes offering their best "glacier boy" impersonations. Check out some of the funniest responses below.
The 29-year-old Migos frontman seems to be in a warm mood in general. He gladly posed next to the logo of his label Quality Control Music despite having filed a lawsuit with Offset and Takeoff alleging that QC's lawyer Damien Granderson finessed millions of dollars from them.
"Granderson effectively prevented his other client – Migos – from ever being free of paying excessive compensation to QCM, from ever being signed to any other record label, and from ever obtaining negotiating leverage to secure reasonable terms in connection with the distribution of its musical recordings," the suit claims.
