Around this time two years ago, Pusha T's most recent project, 'Daytona,' was being crowned the best album of 2018 by publications like Billboard, Complex and Highsnobiety. In fact, only a few music criticism outlets let it fall out of 2018's top 5.

Since then, the 43-year-old has been keeping a relatively low profile, starting a family with his newborn son, whose middle name is fittingly Brixx, and occasionally gracing other artist's projects as a featured guest.

For those eager for more solo efforts from Push, he connected with Pop Smoke's former manager Steven Victor via RapCaviar's IG Live and disclosed some exciting details about his next album.

Got damn! Discussing the producers involved, the G.O.O.D. Music president said, "As of right now it’s only Ye and Pharell – and Neptunes, I’m sorry. That’s it, ain’t nothing to talk about. You know I bring the best out. I bring the best out of everybody."

Victor didn't hesitate to hype the songs with The Neptunes, replying, "I heard like four of them [Pharrell] joints and I immediately put an order in for a car." Laughing, Pusha agreed: "Me too though, for real."

Both Kanye and The Neptunes (Pharrell and Chad Hugo) are familiar collaborators to Push. Ye executive produced 'Daytona' and the two have multiple other tracks together; Pharrell and Hugo hail from Virginia Beach, the rapper's hometown.

Going way back. In fact, The Neptunes played a foundational role in Pusha's career, crafting the iconic drums behind his first hit, "Grindin'," while he was a member of the duo Clipse alongside his brother, No Malice.
