Fans are convinced Post Malone and Trippie Redd have a song on the way after a photo popped up showing the two genre-bending artists in the studio.

Making the moment even more memorable for Trippie is that he once talked about why exactly he likes Post so much.
During an interview with Big Boy last year, Trippie brought up an old music video where Post is singing a disco-style song called "Why Don't You Love Me?" under his alter-ego Leon DeChino. (The clip went viral after Post blew up with "White Iverson.") Notably, he's rocking booty shorts.
"You gotta look up, 'Post Malone old video," Trippie said. "It's hilarious. It's fire, though! Man, if you look that up, the video gon' pop up."
Not only does Trippie think the video is funny but he told Big Boy he appreciates the fact Post doesn't "run" from his earlier work even though it might not align with his music these days.
He even drew a comparison to the evolution of Tyler, The Creator from his Odd Future era to now. "If you sit there and pay attention to Post, he funny, and then he be on his sad boy stuff," Trippie said. "He definitely like [manages] the best of both worlds. He's like a character, kind of like Tyler."
The one-hit-wonder known as Leon DeChino was all part of a high school art class project, according to Post. "That's my idol," he said during a 2017 episode of MTV's 'Ridiculousness.' "He's just very avant-garde, very performance art." Maybe DeChino will inspire Trippie to invent his own alter-ego, too.
Both Posty and Trippie are finalizing their new albums, 'Twelve Carat Toothache' and 'A Love Letter To You 5.' In fact, Post just shared his release date: June 3rd.
This time, he'll be exploring "the ups and downs and the disarray and the bipolar aspect of being an artist in the mainstream."
