Pharrell wants to help you and your arches achieve maximum relaxation. 🌊
House shoes and other footwear that's easy to slip on and off has never been hotter than right now with the ongoing lockdown. Most people are steady kickin' it, pun intended.
Pharrell Williams and Adidas are prioritizing this kind of comfort with their new Boost Slides, which come in four different colorways – orange, yellow, black and pink – all equipped with the brand's cushy boost foam.
Lying under an extra thick hook-and-loop strap system stamped with Pharrell's signature Hu logo is a mesh foundation surrounded by ribbed, Boost tech padding. Building on the "Human" element is the anatomical sole reminding wearers to be aware of their body's many parts, from the colon to the pelvis.
Though Adidas and Pharrell are debatably the most proficient shoe collaborators in the industry, they've only dabbled in sandals on one other occasion. Roughly a year ago, the couple dropped the “Now Is Her Time” collection featuring several strap-heavy looks.

Briefly speaking with Vogue, the 47-year-old polymath compared the experience in these latest sandals to "wearing socks." He added, “You should be the most comfortable you can be, and I think these slides are competing for that spot in your mind.”
Pharrell also mentioned the way that the material composition of slides is often "overlooked," as it's easy for brands to get away with "throwing something in some regular old mold" for the sake of saving money. However, this lack of attention tends to take away from the one thing that's most important: comfort.
