"Believe It” is the latest single off Party's upcoming album, PARTYMOBILE, slated for release on Friday. With Rihanna Stans, or "The Navy," eagerly awaiting her new album, this feature comes as a pleasant surprise.
PND first previewed the groovy collaboration on his snapchat the other night.
Besides being two of the most capable singers in the game, PND and Rihanna share a similar taste for Reggaeton and R&B. They've built around this commonality on a few occasions, leading to the ANTI tracks “Work” and “Sex with Me,” as well as DJ Khaled’s 2017 smash “Wild Thoughts.”
You'll notice that Party isn't actually featured on any of these songs, though. That's because he worked behind-the-scenes as the songwriter. "Believe It" marks the first time that PND has appeared as an artist alongside Rihanna, and it's sounding nice so far.
PARTYMOBILE is the 26-year-old Canadian singer's third studio album and his first project since Seven Days in 2017. After moving in silence for over two years, he finally emerged from the shadows in late 2019 with "THE NEWS" and "LOYAL" featuring his OVO Sound label boss Drake.
"True, you're so bad, we don't need to pretend / But I don't want war with you or my friends," Party sings, reminiscing on a past relationship that's turned slightly sour. You can see him as an action figure in the song's entertaining claymation music video below.
Following a couple of more appetizers, including a Bad Bunny remix for "LOYAL" and the vibey "SPLIT DECISION," PND finally shared the release date and 15-song track list for his new album.
