As the world is still mourning Takeoff's death, Cardi B has given us a little light after posting a short clip of Offset spitting his latest rap. The Migos rapper put his solo LP plans to the side following Takeoff's death, and the video shared by his wife is a preview of Set's upcoming track with Future. Let's take a closer look.

Back in September, the Grammy-nominated rapper announced some pretty big news after rumors that he was splitting from Migos. The Georgia native took to Twitter to share a rather ambiguous date, "11/11/22," and then followed it up with a simple "Album!!!!" Fans immediately shared their excitement over the rapper going solo, especially after Quavo and Takeoff released Only Built for Infinity Links. However, with Takeoff's passing on November 1, Set's sophomore solo album has been delayed until further notice.

As fans patiently await new music, Cardi B took to Instagram to share with her 144 million followers a short clip of her beau rapping, dressed in his dark Joker persona, wig, face paint, outfit, and all. "If you from the streets, you probably heard of me," he raps. The song, deemed as "Fireee" by Cardi, received a whole lot of love from G Herbo, DJ Spin King, DJ Akademiks, and many more. Although there are limited details on the upcoming collab, Offset and Future have previously hit the studio before. The musicians worked together on Patek Water, Oh Yeah, Big Steppers, and more. So, we can only imagine the magic cooking up this time.

Cardi B has also recently shared on Instagram how challenging the loss of Takeoff has been for her, Offset, and their family and friends. "Takeoff, your untimely passing has brought a great deal of pain and sorrow to so many lives. The impact you had in this world was so considerable, and we have struggled to grasp this tragedy. I am heartbroken, but I am grateful for all the precious memories we got to share while you were here with us. This has truly been a nightmare, and the pain is incomparable." Cardi continues to honor his legacy and his "remarkable talent" and "dope a** personality" in her heartfelt post.
