It's been a little over two weeks since Nicki Minaj and her husband Kenneth Petty welcomed their first child, and now she's ready to open the door to her 123 million Instagram followers on the topic of the baby's gender.
Alongside a handful of snapshots of congratulatory cards she received from celebrity pals like Beyoncé, Kim Kardashian and Kanye West, and Winnie Harlow, Minaj expressed her thanks for the love but also spilled the tea that she gave birth to a boy.
"Thank you to Queen B, Kim & Ye, Riccardo Tisci, Winnie, Karol & everyone who sent well wishes during this time," she captioned the upload. "It meant the world to me. I am so grateful & in love with my son. Madly in love. My favorite liddo boy in the whole wide world." Aww.
Writing her note by hand, Beyoncé, a mother of three, welcomed Minaj or Onika to her new life as a mom: "God bless you and your family." Harlow exclaimed, "Baby Barb on Board!"
Armed with this huge reveal, the Barbz have to be eager to learn the little guy's name and even more interested in seeing a photo. Yet only time will grant them that information.
It appears motherhood hasn't slowed Nicki's work ethic, though. She announced that she'd be hopping on a remix of Sada Baby's TikTok-adopted track "Whole Lotta Choppas" dropping today.
Will Black Barbie and her unwavering fans propel Sada to his inaugural Hot 100 placement? Few deserve this kind of mainstream recognition more than the Detroit native.
