The next time you're at the grocery store, keep an eye out for Lil Yachty's face. The Atlanta rapper is linking with Reese's Puffs for his own special box of the tasty cereal that puts his iced out grill front and center.
For Yachty, who grew up eating spoonfuls of Reese's Puffs on the daily, the collab marks a milestone moment. He told Hypebeast it's "arguably the craziest thing" he's done in his career among all his various partnerships. He added, "I eat cereal every day, so it’s just gonna be cool to see it – like my face in the cereal aisle."
He echoed this pride on social media, captioning a photo of him pouring up some Puffs, "I’ve done a lot of things in my career, but this is one I’m probably most proud of." He also praised the General Mills brand for always having commercials that felt "more in tune with the culture I grew up around."
Swag: It's only right then that the 23-year-old drop a reimagined version of the classic "Reese's Puffs Rap" on streaming, giving the theme song a lo-fi, auto-tuned treatment. "Gotta take my Reese's Puffs everywhere I go / Even at my meetings and backstage at my shows," he hums.
Many hip-hop fans will recall that Travis Scott was the first rapper to get an official Reese's Puffs co-sign in summer 2019, sharing a limited run of boxes. A family size box is currently selling on Amazon for $70!
You gonna cop? Expect Yachty's design to hit shelves on a much wider scale than Travis's sometime in 2021 with a retail price of $3.99. (Ain't no telling whether resellers will wipe out the stores, though.)
