When the world opens back up, Lil Wayne is about to be rolling around like a king. A week ahead of his upcoming 38th birthday this Sunday, his friend and Young Money President Mack Maine gave him a new amethyst and black 2020 McLaren 720S Spider.

"I luh ya brudda!" Weezy captioned an Instagram video of his whip. "I need that F1 driver outfit @ab [Antonio Brown] had on!!" It's reportedly worth over $400,000 and changes colors when the sun hits at the right angle.

Wayne also shared a tweet expressing his excitement about the present. "So my brudda Mack just bought me a McLaren," he wrote. "'u know I ride for my M* n***a' (my voise)."

Alongside a separate video of Maine pulling up on Wayne with the car, he announced that the "OG" version of Tha Carter V will be dropping this Friday, Sept. 25.

"I heard y'all. Y'all always wanted that OG CV,” he said while bumping a snippet likely from the project. “I’m gonna make sure y'all can bump it too. Tha Carter V deluxe, OG Carter V baby. This Friday, you heard me? We in the building. Happy birthday, Tunechi. The GOAT."

Before being released circa Sept. 2018, Tha Carter V was rerecorded several times and delayed for roughly four years partially due to contractual disagreements between Wayne and Birdman's Cash Money Records.

No tracklist has been posted yet, but two of the most discussed leaks that could be included are "Just Chill" featuring Justin Bieber and "Mute" featuring Big Sean.
