| LAST UPDATE 10/19/2022
Kendrick Lamar has been making big moves. The Compton rapper’s upcoming concert at Paris’ Accor Arena will be available to watch via live stream - courtesy of Amazon Music and Prime Video. So, if you have never been able to catch Lamar live, now is your chance.
Lamar has been busy on tour for months now. The Mr. Morale and the Big Steppers Tour kicked off in June and has stops all over the world, including in the United Kingdom, Europe, Australia, and New Zealand. The live stream concert in Paris will also commemorate a special event. It is the 10th anniversary of the release of Lamar’s Grammy-nominated LP Good Kid, M.A.A.D City. His sophomore album recently reached 520 consecutive weeks, or 10 years, on the Billboard 200 Albums chart. Its influence is unmistakable as one of the greatest rap albums of all time.
Mr. Morale and the Big Steppers marks the end of Lamar's five-year hiatus after he released DAMN. Since the drop of his fifth studio album, the Backseat Freestyle rapper has been keeping quite busy. He was the executive producer of the soundtrack album to Marvel's Black Panther. He also made his acting debut in the Starz series Power, which earned him a nomination at the NAACP Image Awards for Outstanding Guest Performance. He was also part of the legendary Super Bowl LVI halftime show with Dr. Dre, Eminem, Mary J. Blige, and Snoop Dogg. Most recently, he was the musical act for the premiere episode of the 48th season of Saturday Night Live, where he performed three songs from his latest album. There is no way anyone would want to kill his vibe.
