On Tuesday, November 9, music wiz, J Prince, opened up about his recent hangout with the Christian Genius Billionaire. But their late-night hangout in Houston's Rothko Chapel went far beyond Sunday service or some bible talk. Instead? Their documented sesh took shots at 'Ye's longtime enemy...
"I’m making this video to address the ongoing back-and-forth between myself and Drake," Kanye began to explain. "Both Drake and I have taken shots at each other and it’s time to put it to rest." Did... he... really... just say that? While a peace offering initiated from 'Ye himself sounds slightly out of character, that's exactly what went down. Only that's not where the surprises end.
See, making nice with Drizzy would be shocking enough. But inviting him on stage? That's next level: "I’m asking Drake on December 7 to join me on stage as a special guest to share the two biggest albums of the year," West continued, taking a swipe at their Donda vs. Certified Loverboy fiasco. Yep, he really went there. But according to 'Ye, there's good reason.
"The ultimate purpose [is] to free Larry Hoover," Kanye explained. That's right, for those who haven't yet heard, 'Ye will be pulling out all the stops next month in the hopes of getting the famed prisoner released. "I believe this event will not only bring awareness to our cause, but prove to people everywhere how much more we can accomplish when we lay our pride to the side and come together." Does this mean Kanye and Drake's beef is actually coming to an end?
