Instagram CEO Speaks on Tory Lanez's Quarantine Radio

Instagram CEO Adam Mosseri shared his thoughts on Tory Lanez and the show's success. 🔥

With Tory's Instagram Live access being temporarily suspended earlier this week, fans are patiently awaiting the return of Quarantine Radio on March 14.

Though Tory claimed "THEY DIDN'T WANT ME TO WIN" in a since-deleted Instagram post, Mosseri said the reason Tory's IG Live was suspended for both his real account and another one he created was due to a content violation.

"You can't have nudity on Instagram," he said during a Wednesday interview with The Shade Room. "It's part of our community guidelines, it's part of the rules, and we can't make exceptions."

Mosseri is a fan of Tory and his show, though, and is excited for its comeback. "Generally, a big fan of Tory Lanez, big fan of Quarantine Radio...I hope it comes back soon, just no nudity," he said. 😂

Contrary to the viral meme below, it doesn't sound like he's totally hated watching Tory wild out.

Over the past couple of weeks, Tory has been making major waves with Quarantine Radio. Some of the show's signature offerings include NSFW talent shows and twerk competitions headlined by Megan Thee Stallion.

He's also had a wide array of celebrity guests, including fellow Canadians Justin Bieber and Drake, hitting over 300k+ viewers with the latter while discussing the best way to avoid the coronavirus.

Even though Quarantine Radio is temporarily off the air, Tory will still be releasing his new mixtape, The Toronto 3, this Friday. According to a post he shared on Instagram, the project will be the Toronto artist's last release under Interscope before becoming a "free man."

In a lengthy caption, he apologized to his fans for not being able to display his full creative potential as an Interscope artist. "This has been a huge journey for me and my fans and I apologize that mid way thru this , I had to dumb down my creativity , and not give y’all the 100% of quality in my music that y’all deserved to hear for so long," he wrote.

Can't wait to see what kind of tricks Tory has planned for his Instagram Live return next Tuesday. 😎
