With classic mixtapes like 'Dirty Sprite,' 'Beast Mode' and more, Future pushed the boundaries of trap music and became a certified superstar in the streets, especially in Atlanta.
Future fully understands his impact and believes he's surpassed one of the greatest rappers ever: Jay-Z.

"In the streets I'm bigger then Jigga," Future recently told his more than 7 million Twitter followers. "Ima run me a B [a billion] up easy."
After getting Kanye to make a surprise guest appearance during his headlining set at Rolling Loud LA, the 38-year-old also flexed, "I'm the only one can get YE to pull up whenever wherever..tuh."
While Future Hendrix and Jay-Z went Platinum together on DJ Khaled's "I Got the Keys" back in 2016, Jay threw some subtle shade at Future the next year on "Kill Jay Z."
"I don't even know what you woulda done / In the future other n****s playin' football with your son," he rapped, seemingly dragging Future over his son's relationship with Seattle Seahawks QB Russell Wilson, who's married to Ciara, Future's ex and baby mama.
According to Future, Jay told him he "didn't mean it like that," but the lyrics still didn't sit right. "I was just like, 'You supposed to be bigging up the rap community. You need to let the NFL deal with the NFL. You supposed to be bigging up me if anything, we come from the trenches.
"'I come from the streets, you come from the streets. You supposed to be bigging me up. You not supposed to be giving no negative attention on a hot line for something that's always going to be out.' He was like, 'My fault,' and all that but it's out now so it ain't just 'my fault' or whatever it is. It is what it is. I'm not even trippin' off him."
The Future vs. Jay-Z saga earned another chapter after Hov declared during a Twitter Spaces interview, "No one can stand on that stage with me. It's not a chance in hell that anyone can stand on that stage with me," when speaking on a potential Verzuz hit-for-hit battle.
Future then reposted this message: "I Promise You, ErrBody From Atlanta Feels Like Pluto Can Win A Verzuz Against Hov!"
