During the first episode of her Apple Music 1 (formerly Beats 1) radio show, Me Always Radio, Young M.A. hopped on the phone with Eminem and traded compliments with the "Rap God."

She started by thanking Em for giving her the chance to contribute a verse to "Unaccomodating," the second track on his most recent album, Music To Be Murdered By. Slim Shady returned the thanks.

Then, he called her latest 7-song Red Flu EP "crazy" before explaining, "I'm on my third listen through and I’m still catching s***, like, 'Oh!'"

Eminem went on to praise M.A.'s ability to craft punchlines without having to use unnecessary "setups." He said, "When you get your punchlines, however your writing process is, you can always tell somebody who has studied the game and who is a student of it – I told you this the first time we talked – you make your punchlines, there’s no setup or like your setups don’t sound like setups.

"They sound like punchline after punchline after punchline. That requires a lot of skill and a lot of thought. Your dedication to the craft is unbelievable."

Though M.A. believes many listeners these days don't appreciate lyrics like fans used to, applause from an icon like Em has to be the next best thing. He also shouted out her fall 2019 Funkmaster Flex freestyle.

"Like your Flex Freestyle when you was just like, you was just talking and killing it," he said. "I was like, 'God damn!' I’m so happy for you and all the moves you’re making and the output that you’ve been doing lately is like incredible."
