Details surrounding Drizzy's highly-anticipated sixth studio album are slowly coming to the surface, with OnSmash claiming that a title and a lead single have been determined. 🔥
The project will allegedly be called Skeleton King and the first single featuring Bruno Mars could come as early as this Friday, August 14th. Two weeks later on August 28th, the full-length record will drop.
If these rumors turn out to be true, the unnamed song would be the first collaboration between Bruno and The Boy. It would also be Bruno's first release in over a year. Meanwhile, Drake just linked with Popcaan for a pair of tracks – "TWIST & TURN" and "ALL I NEED" – as part of the latter's FIXTAPE album.
Though Drake hasn't confirmed the news, this August drop would make sense given his prior promise made in May alongside the Dark Lane Demo Tapes announcement that he'd be "dropping summer 2020!!!"
"My brothers @alex_oliverelkhatib @ovonoel put together alot of the songs people have been asking for (some leaks and some joints from SoundCloud and some new vibes) DARK LANE DEMO TAPES out everywhere at midnight…also my 6th STUDIO ALBUM DROPPING SUMMER 2020!!! Lucky number 6," he wrote in the caption.
Among other symbols like owls and scorpions, skeletons haven't appeared much throughout Drake's career. One of the few times he's referenced them is in the spooky cover art for his 2018 single "I'm Upset."
Stay tuned for updates!
