Another day, another milestone for Drake. However, this one is especially impressive because it highlights the Toronto artist's lasting popularity in the streaming era of music.

According to numerous sources, Drizzy is the first act to reach 50 billion streams on Spotify across all credits, making him the platform's most-streamed artist as well. ("All credits" means songs published to his page and those he's featured on.)

Somethin' light: While he typically stays quiet regarding records, publicly at least, Drake had to briefly acknowledge his streaming greatness. He reposted the headline on his Instagram Story and simply added an upside-down smiling face emoji. So humble.

The 34-year-old also surpassed 52 million Spotify followers for the first time the other day. Only Ed Sheeran and Ariana Grande have more. The next closest artist is fellow Canadian Justin Bieber at 41 million.

Need that! You can bet both Drake's streams and followers will continue to skyrocket if he follows through on his promise to deliver 'Certified Lover Boy' this month. (Only 12 days left.)

What would really turn the album release into an unprecedented event is if it coincided with the arrival of his new signature Nike sneaker allegedly called the "Hot Step Air Terra." The Boy was wearing a white sample pair while in the studio recording 'CLB.'

Swag: The shoe is part of his NOCTA sub-label under the Nike umbrella, though its next collection – featuring uniform pieces like a light shell jacket, a utility vest and a couple of T-shirts – isn't supposed to drop until late February.
