The rumors have been flowing for months, and the answers are finally here! Drake and 21 Savage have officially announced their joint album, Her Loss, and we can't wait to see what these two rap Gods put down for us this time.
The Canadian rapper is known for collaborating with only the best artists in the biz, but there's something about hissynergy with 21 Savagethat just works. The two first linked up back in 2016 on the track, Sneakin, and since then, they have gotten together on multiple tracks to prove their differentiating rap tones complement each other unbelievably. The two worked together again on Mr. Right Now off of Savage's 2020 album Savage Mode 2 and again on Knife Talk from Drakes' Certified Lover Boy and Jimmy Cooks on Drakes' most recent album, Honestly, Nevermind. Between Knife Talk and Jimmy Cooks, the two songs truly made everyone understand their artistic chemistry, wondering what would come next from the dynamic duo.
When Drake announced the Jimmy Cooks music video would drop on 21's 30th birthday, rumors circulated the web surrounding a potential joint album from the two, and well, the internet was right! Jimmy Cooks, a clear nod to Drake's Degrassi character, Jimmy Brooks, debuted at #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 and instantly became a crowd favorite. So, about a minute and a half into the three-minute-long music video, the big announcement we were all waiting for appeared in bold white letters. "Her Loss Album By Drake And 21 Savage," along with the release date: October 28. Knew it.

However, Champagne Papi took to his Instagram story to announce the upcoming joint album will be delayed by a few days! Why? Well, according to the Nonstop artist, his longtime producer, Noah "40" Shebib, recently became infected with COVID while finishing off the album, causing a delay in the drop date. But don't worry too much, everyone; Her Loss is only being pushed back a week and is expected to drop on November 4. So stay tuned for what has the potential to be one of the greatest collaborations of the year...
