In an effort to simply "show some love" to the students at one of the most prestigious HBCUs in the nation, Cordae recently tapped in with Howard University in Washington, DC. (He's originally from Maryland.)

"Randomly pulled up at Howard today," he captioned the below clip. "REAL love in REAL life thank y'all." Turns out, Cordae is taking a note from Kanye's 'Donda' rollout, hosting a handful of "last minute" listening parties for his unreleased album, 'From a Bird's Eye View.'

Rather than rent out massive football stadiums, the 24-year-old is bringing together "small groups of students" at notable HBCUs through Tuesday, Sept. 21st. Back in June, Cordae also worked with the Disney Dreamers Academy and ESPN's The Undefeated to fund scholarships for students attending HBCUs.

"So many people need the money more than I do," he said in a statement. "I feel as though when you’re in such a blessed position, it’s important to pay that forward to be a blessing to others. It’s especially important to me to invest in our youth and the future."

Those lucky enough to hear Cordae's sophomore album seem to have good things to say so far. "10/10!! there are 0 skips on this album," one fan tweeted.

While he's yet to drop an official lead single, Cordae briefly satisfied the hunger for new music with a smooth 4-track EP titled "Just Until…" back in April.

Before he was passing through HBCUs, Cordae graced the 2021 Met Gala with his girlfriend, tennis star and Gala co-chair Naomi Osaka.

Naomi wore a vibrant Louis Vuitton dress while Cordae kept things cool in Coach. "I'm so proud of you my boy !" Joey Bada$$ told him via IG.
