Days after he went on a tweet streak teasing the idea of new tunes, Bryson Tiller has confirmed his long-awaited album will be dropping this fall.
Tiller made the surprise announcement near the end of the moody video for his new single "Inhale," as the screen reads, "New Album This Fall." Judging from past messages organized by Genius, the likely title of the project is Serenity.
The self-proclaimed Pen Griffey has been mum about what to expect with this latest collection in terms of theme and features. But there is one person who he'd like to make an appearance: The Weeknd.
"hey @theweeknd , fans want me to ask for a verse on a r&b song of mine," he recently tweeted. "you know i wouldn’t trip."
Abel and Bryson have previously worked together to craft a couple of unreleased cuts, including a remix of the latter's "Rambo."
Elsewhere, fans were slightly triggered earlier this week when Tiller posted a meme about all the sounds he has in the vault. He also shared a semi-sarcastic poll about the timing of the release with indistinct options like, "When the time is Right" and "On your own Time."
Beyond prepping his first album since May 2017's True to Self, the 27-year-old has had an exciting year: He welcomed his second daughter, Kelly, and earned his high school diploma.
