During an epic beat battle with Hit-Boy, Boi-1da played an unheard collaboration from Drake and Roddy Ricch.

Inspired by a beat battle that Timbaland and Swizz Beats hosted last week on Instagram Live, super producers Boi-1da and Hit-Boy came together over the weekend to pit their biggest hits head to head.

While rap fans knew they were in for a show, they weren't expecting to hear unreleased songs from the likes of Drake and Roddy Ricch, Nas, as well as Big Sean and the late Nipsey Hussle.

Boi-1da shook sh*t up first with a new track from Drizzy and Roddy. "I'm in the cut, the boy in the cut!" Drake proclaims over a catchy instrumental.

"I'm not even playing with Hit-Boy, bro," 1da said as he introduced the song. When Roddy's voice entered 1da sarcastically asked, "Who that?!"

Hit-Boy acknowledged the leak by briefly speaking on his relationship with Roddy. "Roddy, that's my little brother, man. I got a Grammy with bro," he said, referencing their recent Grammy win for Best Rap Performance on Nipsey Hussle's "Racks in the Middle."

As the battle carried on, 1da didn't let up. He's Drake's go-to hit-maker ("Best I Ever Had," "God's Plan"), so you know he had another preview in his bag.

But Hit-Boy has his fair share of unheard credits, too. He responded with a Big Sean and Nipsey Hussle track from Sean's forthcoming album Detroit 2.

"Shoutout Nipsey Hussle, n*gga, rest in peace," the producer said as he restarted the snippet. Nipsey opens the song with a statement of his own: "Fuck rap, I'm a street legend."

Big Sean even briefly popped in the frame for a second to vibe out with Hit-Boy. "That's cheating," 1da said while smiling. "You got Big Sean with you, that's not fair."

Hit-Boy took things a step further by also playing snippets from Nas and Benny the Butcher. You can see the resulting worry on 1da's face in the tweet thumbnail below. 😂
