Days after announcing the Friday, Oct. 30, release date for the second collection of her Ivy Park x Adidas collaboration, "DRIP 2," Beyoncé shared a commercial featuring her 8-year-old daughter Blue Ivy Carter.
In one shot, Blue Ivy looks a little surprised as she checks in on her mom lounging in a bubble bath while wearing sneakers. "I tried to make sure I got five minutes by myself in the bathtub every day," Bey narrates. "It was difficult and I still heard, "Mommy!"
But that's not the only scene where Blue Ivy steals the show. Following the flashing of the campaign slogan "This Is My Park" on screen, she shows off her athleticism by quickly hitting a full cheerleader-like split! In a face mask nonetheless. Fans crowned her an "icon" and a "legend."
"I just know Blue Ivy was making Beyoncé do some shots over," one commenter joked on Twitter. Indeed, a source told People in July 2019 that Blue is "very sassy, high energy, and knows what she wants." Plus, she's apparently a "natural" entertainer, taking after her mom. "Blue loves singing, dancing, and performing," they said.
Throughout the rest of the video, Beyoncé previews colorful looks from the upcoming Ivy Park drop including windbreakers, crop top suit jackets, hoodies, sports bras, leggings, beanies, bathing suits, two-tone sneakers to match, and more. (That face accessory is kind of fire, too.)
Back in January, the first capsule distributed via Adidas sold out less than a day after pre-ordering went live.
