For the third collection from her Ivy Park sub-label with Adidas, Beyoncé is bringing on Gucci Mane as the brand's newest ambassador and model. Fittingly, the upcoming drop is dubbed "Icy Park," perfect for Gucci's ice-cold ethos.
As part of the campaign, Gucci is pictured rocking an all-white tracksuit and matching high-top sneakers. The upcoming release – described as "refreshingly chill, effortlessly functional, relentlessly stylish and always inclusive" – will reportedly feature five new shoe styles like a "Super Sleek Boot" as well as other celeb ambassadors like Hailey Bieber (shown second below) and rising Dallas rapper Kaash Paige.
Ivy Park has earned a reputation for the savvy way it distributes unreleased products to Beyoncé's network of high-profile friends, like Cardi B, Ellen Degeneres, Kehlani and Chloe x Halle, who almost always share their care packages on social media and spark chatter among eager fans.
No familiar faces have received a plug just yet but the Beyhive is already more than prepared to blow their bank, a mutual feeling accelerated by this frigid preview footage.
While they've never collaborated on music, Beyoncé and Gucci seem to share a budding friendship. Around Christmas, when the Atlanta rapper and his wife, Keyshia Ka'Oir, welcomed their first son, Ice Davis, Bey sent them a $250 baby fork and spoon set from Tiffany & Co along with a little note. (If Ice was older, his spot in the Icy Park rollout would've been a no-brainer.)
The most recent Ivy Park x Adidas drop, "Drip 2," arrived last October and included a range of athletic streetwear items from bike shorts and bodysuits to hoodies and blazers and much more. Bey's daughter, Blue Ivy Carter, even made a cameo in a teaser trailer.
No specific release date is available for "Icy Park," though one should be announced in the coming weeks.
