Ahead of his much-anticipated debut album, 'Montero,' Lil Nas X made a huge announcement that again defies the norm: he's pregnant. (Well, sort of.) Scroll to see the eye-opening photos of his baby belly.

Lil Nas X's 'Montero' – also his first name – is dropping on Friday, Sept. 17th. Featured guests include Doja Cat, Jack Harlow, Megan Thee Stallion, Elton John and Miley Cyrus. However, in true Lil Nas fashion, he wanted to go beyond a bunch of famous artists to get fans talking.

"SURPRISE! I can’t believe I'm finally announcing this," he wrote alongside photos of him holding his "bundle of joy" named "Montero." Fittingly, Nas's due date is also Friday, Sept. 17th. (If you didn't catch on, the baby isn't real.)

Like almost every other Lil Nas X move, the news quickly went viral, earning both applause and backlash. Among those who took issue was comedian Donnell Rawlings, most recognized for his role on 'Chappelle's Show.'

"I'm with freedom of whatever, but at this point Lil Nas is f*****g with the minds of kids. What are your thoughts, how do I explain this s**t to my son?" he asked in a since-deleted IG post.

Plus, Nas continues to live rent-free in the mind of one of his harshest critics, Boosie. No, for real. The 38-year-old rapper woke up at 6:40 a.m. scared about the idea that Nas might "turn around n suck one of his background dancers d*** on national TV," according to this tweet.

Nas claims he's even throwing a "baby shower," though no other details were offered. Bay Area rapper Guapdad 4000 was mind-blown after making this realization regarding the album rollout: "Wow so he was pregnant [with] the industry baby the whole time."

After 'Montero' arrives, Lil Nas's record with iconic British singer and piano player Elton John, "One Of Me," will be included on the latter's upcoming compilation project as well.

Due out in Oct., John says 'Lockdown Sessions' is comprised of "[music] that took me out of my comfort zone into completely new territory."
