Ariana Grande is going for a sciencey yet sexy feel in her latest video for "34+35" (69 for math buffs) directed by the one and only Director X.

The track is a standout cut blending pop and hip-hop elements from Grande's sixth studio album 'Positions,' which dropped a few weeks ago, giving the superstar her fifth No. 1 entry on the Billboard 200.

When Grande isn't showing off her intimate, effortless moves, she plays a scientist trying to activate a robot-human hiding magic powers of sorts.

While X typically stays pretty low-key, he's a major draw for viewers at this point and, in turn, has been placing himself in front of the camera here and there. At the end of "34+35," you get a behind the scenes look at how he enthusiastically guides talent during scenes involving a lot of emotion.

'Positions' – Grande's "favorite album yet" – leads this week's chart update for the second straight week with 83,000 equivalent sales. 174,000 units were streamed and shipped during its debut week.

She thanked her over 206 million IG fans for the love in a sincere post earlier this month: "your response to the music has made my heart so incredibly full, i can’t even begin to fully express how much it means. so thank u. so very much."
