To remind the future Hall of Famer about his poor judgment, Gordon recently released a diss song aimed toward Wade titled "9 OUT OF 10," referencing the low score Wade gave him after seeing his final dunk.
While sipping a glass of red wine from D-Wade's Wade Cellars brand, Gordon talks down on Wade's decision and suggests he knew he was going to fix the results before the competition even started.
"Saw you in the hallway, you say, 'Youngin, put on a show' / Didn't know that's the code for you about to get rolled," Gordon raps. Right after those bars, he claims that NBA commissioner Adam Silver even told him that he "deserves the gold."
Gordon also says the dunk contest loss cost him a million dollars and that his dreams of winning the competition are "restin' in peace," backing up his previous announcement that he's retiring from the Dunk Contest altogether.
If you need a refresher, Gordon lost to Miami Heat forward Derrick Jones Jr. in a cutthroat dunk competition during All-Star Weekend in Chicago.
After he jumped over seven and a half foot tall center Tacko Fall in a bonus round and still lost to Jones by one point, many felt the high flyer was cheated out of a title.
Skeptical fans pointed at loyal Heat lifer Wade, who was one of the judges, accusing him of picking sides and skewing his scores to help Jones Jr. win.
A hilarious meme was spawned out of the moment of suspicion.
Wade addressed Gordon's diss late Sunday with some "free advice" on how to make quick money.
"He should trademark 9/10. Make some money off of it," Wade tweeted. "That’s free advice that I won’t charge him for it. (You know since I costed him a Mill)."
D-Wade response song coming soon??
