During a music video shoot on Monday for a new song with YSL's Lil Keed, titled "FOX 5" after the local Atlanta news affiliate, gunshots appeared to ring out as Gunna rapped for the camera with an ATV doing donuts in the background.
In the clip above, you can hear multiple shots seemingly fired off camera, leading Gunna and others to quickly run away.
Most viewers' first reaction would probably be one of concern about whether Gunna, Lil Keed and the crew were safe, but not if you're 6ix9ine. Commenting on a repost of the video from Akademiks, Tekashi took a moment to undercut Gunna by referencing his infamous appearance on a show similar to Crime Stoppers.
"This happen after the crime stoppers video? 🤭 ," he asked.
Shortly after, Wunna offered a mysterious Instagram Story, writing, "Don't believe the cap 🧢." Huh?
Young Thug then proclaimed that people should know "we the ones [who] did it" whenever there's a shootout involving him and/or his YSL associates.
Back to Gunna, he addressed the suspicious Crime Stoppers clip during an interview with The Breakfast Club in mid-May, claiming he "ain't never stopped a crime" and didn't know "what the f*ck" the video was about.
Yet, he did admit that it was him in the clip, even though he doesn't recall being involved in a case. "Yes, that's me, but that wasn't on no crime stopper," he said. "I don't know what the hell n***as thinkin' bout, 'cause I wasn't in no case or nothing. … Where I'm from like, if you snitch, bruh, that sh*t is in paperwork, that sh*t is in a document."
Thankfully, it looks like Gunna and Keed were unharmed by the shooting incident as the latter posted a few photos from the set.
On another note, this song is sounding like a hit!
