50 Cent came through with stacks of his own stimulus cash for Burger King workers in his hometown of Southside Jamaica, Queens, this week. More than $30,000 total, in fact.
In the viral clip, entrepreneur Jay Mazini, who's developed a reputation online for handing out large sums of money, asks the drive-thru attendant how many people are on the clock. All 10 are invited to come to the window.
Everyone freaks out when they see 50 approaching and he starts dealing cash among the group – roughly $3,000 per person. One of the employees repeatedly asks whether he can join Power. He even hooks up one dude who says it's his day off.
"FIF TOLD ME I REALLY LIKE WHAT YOU’RE DOING, I TOLD HIM IT’S GOOD KARMA AT THE END OF THE DAY BIG BRO!!!" Mazini captioned his post of the same video. "CHANGE LIVES & CONNECT WITH REAL ONES."
As the commotion settles, an NYPD squad car pulls up to check out what's happening. 50 walks toward them with a few bills left in his hand and jokes, "I got something for you too."
Before linking with 50, Mazini and another New York rap icon, Fabolous, stopped by a Checkers in Jersey City to offer $5,000 each to 4 workers. Who says flipping burgers can't get you paid?
