On Sunday, Sir Savage took to Instagram Stories to troll Chop, telling fans to help the Chicago producer by listening to his new mixtape, The Intro X Young Godfather, when it comes out.
"Make sure y’all go get his tape wen it drop cuz he need da clout and pray for him cuz he done lost his mind," 21 wrote.
21 later shared a post from Young Chop about a song he published on YouTube, "when young chop come in the studio." While the song doesn't directly reference 21, the cover art shows a photo of him looking surprised, alluding to Chop's story that 21 got scared when he brought a gun into the studio.
All the drama started when Chop joined an Instagram Live session last week with Gillie Da King and recalled a few situations where he claims to have seen rappers like Meek Mill, 21 Savage and French Montana acting “scary.”
According to Chop, he was with Lil Durk one time when they dropped in on a studio session where Meek Mill was recording with 21. Chop claims that when Meek and 21 saw he had a gun on him, they got frightened, and then 21 left not long after. "They had the Bentley trucks outside, them motherfuckers skirted off,” he said.
Not only did 21 bail, Chop claims, but he was standing quietly behind Meek Mill the whole time they were together.
Gille, who's known Meek since the rapper was 18 years old, took offense to the idea that he was shook. But he said he couldn't defend 21 'cause he didn't know him very well.
Chop's comments elicited responses from both Meek and French Montana, who Chop also claimed was "scary." Like 21, they dismissed his shots as the result of a psychiatric problem.
"It’s obvious chop having some mental issues...hope he get well," Meek tweeted. 😳
