To those looking to fully embrace the adventures of Miles Morales in the upcoming 'Spider-Man' PlayStation video game: pay close attention.
Spidey and Adidas Originals are linking for a special release of both Hi-Top and Low-Top Superstars matching a style that players can access in the game. Arriving almost 50 years after the Superstar originally hit shelves, this latest update pairs well with the young Spider-Man's sleek suit.
The main draw is the bright red leather upper and sole that contrasts with the black Three Stripes, midsole, laces and signature shell toe.
Beyond the "Superstar" stamp next to the midfoot stripes, all the other featured accents arrive in red, like the Adidas Originals logo on the tongue, the PlayStation-branded lace lock near the toe, as well as the classic Spider-Man logo on the heel tab.
Yet new-age Spidey stans will recall that throughout Morales debut via 'Into the Spider-Verse,' he rocked a pair of Chicago edition Nike Air Jordan 1s rather than Adidas. Jordan Brand and Spider-Man created a real-life pair of those kicks, too, nicknamed the "Origin Story" and highlighted by translucent powder blue soles. The average resale price on StockX is $1,008 with the limited box and $500 without.
Players will be able to lace Morales in Superstars starting this Thursday, Nov. 12, when the game is officially released for PS4 and PS5. For the real-life drop, peep Adidas' site next Thursday, Nov. 19.
