And just like that, "Karen Durant" was born. 🀣

When you find a mom in flats playing basketball in the driveway, you're probably expecting her to get her ankles taken. That's what we've witnessed countless times in the past, at least.

On Sunday, though, one woman was brave enough to shatter this stereotype in a viral clip that's since earned more than 3 million views on Twitter. The 10-second video, originally published on TikTok, shows a middle-aged woman blowing by her unsuspecting defender with a filthy behind the back dribble.

She then hits a smooth left-handed layup over the young man as he desperately lunges for a last-second block. See for yourself below.

As the cameraman screams, "She got you buckets!" the now-washed defender can only smile in embarrassment. Sorry, my man.

With the hilarious clip making rounds on social media, commenters began referring to the woman as "Karen Durant." Here are a handful of the funniest captions.

Recently, Kevin Durant, the two-time NBA Finals MVP and member of the Brooklyn Nets, shared details around his upcoming Showtime documentary, Basketball County: In the Water.

Most notably, KD revealed that IDK, who's from Durant's hometown of Prince George's County in Maryland, will serve as music supervisor, composer and narrator. IDK originally caught Durant's attention with his outstanding 2019 project, Is He Real?

Arriving next Friday, May 15, the project, which KD referred to as "near and dear to my heart," will highlight basketball stars hailing from the DMV area.

He added in a press release, "Having grown up in Prince George's County and with my family residing there today, it's my life's mission to not only give back through my foundation but continue to tell the amazing stories of those that have come from there."
