During a press conference on Thursday, the singer dropped major hints about her fire halftime show at this Sunday's Super Bowl! Fans are now all hyped up for her sizzlin' halftime performance. "We've been working on it for a while, and every day it just gets closer and closer to the finished product. Today's a really big rehearsal, a really important one, that's going to be crucial for Sunday," the Love on the Brain singer said. "It's a lot of preparation. This is the week that – it really is [about] being tested. Everyone, we're just tightening up everything, everybody's dialing in, everybody's tuning up and [it's] a lot of moving parts. I mean, It's literally, like, 300 to 400 people breaking the stage down and building it back up and getting it out in eight minutes. It's incredible. It's almost impossible."
However, the singer admitted that she had to make some tough calls when it came down to choosing songs for her lit show - with so many bangers, she just couldn't decide which ones were gonna get the party started. "That was the hardest, hardest part. Deciding how to maximize 13 minutes, but also celebrate. And that's what this show's going to be; a celebration," she shared. "You're going to see on Sunday, just from the time it starts, it just never ends, until it's like the very last second," she added. "There are a lot of people who are a part of this show, and a huge part of the reason why this show is going to be as incredible as it is. I couldn't have done it without them."
With Valentine's Day as well as her birthday and the Super Bowl on her February calendar this year, Riri's schedule is looking super busy. But this singer-slash-entrepreneur admitted that she's been so focused on getting ready for the biggest stage in all of sports that this whole bday thing slipped her mind. But it's been 4 years since she graced us with her talent, so we know this long-awaited comeback performance is gonna be lit. Don't miss it!
