We're about to witness Gal Gadot in yet another action-packed performance as she takes the lead in the international espionage thriller Heart of Stone. The trailer promises a heart-stopping adventure with high-octane stunts and intense action sequences.
Joined by co-stars Jamie Dornan and Alia Bhatt, Gadot heads up an elite team of global peacekeeping agents who work together with no political leanings or national allegiances to maintain peace in a turbulent world. As a highly-trained intelligence operative, known for her steely demeanor and adrenaline-junkie tendencies, Gadot's Rachel Stone is tasked with saving the Charter's most valuable and dangerous weapon after it's stolen by hacker Keya Dhawan. The Charter is a shadowy global peacekeeping agency with a powerful technological core that gives it its power - its "heart," if you will. And when Stone sets off on a globe-trotting adventure to save the day and clear her name, viewers are taken on an epic journey full of incredible stunts and major action set pieces.
Directed by Tom Harper from a script by Greg Rucka and Allison Schroeder, with Gadot producing under her Pilot Wave banner with her partner and husband Jaron Varsano, Heart of Stone features major action set pieces, including a motorcycle chase through the Alps and cars speeding through Lisbon's streets. It also includes heart-stopping stunts, like skydiving from a death-defying height and paragliding off a snowy embankment. As she takes on this dangerous mission, Stone's boss reminds her that she has no friends or relationships, and what they do is too important. But Stone is not afraid to take on the challenge, as she snarls into her cell phone, "Heart or no heart, I'm coming for you," warning Bhatt's character. Matthias Schweighöfer's Charter agent warns of the chance of failure, but Stone responds with confidence, "Only because you have no imagination," as she successfully tumbles onto her target.

Heart of Stone is produced by Skydance's David Ellison, Dana Goldberg, and Don Granger, along with Mockingbird's Bonnie Curtis and Julie Lynn. Patty Whitcher, Harper, and Rucka serve as executive producers. The movie marks another partnership between Netflix and Skydance, having teamed up in the past for other action-packed films like The Old Guard and 6 Underground. Gadot also has a strong connection with Netflix, as she is set to appear in two sequels to Red Notice, one of the streamer's most-watched movies of all time. Heart of Stone begins streaming exclusively on Netflix on August 11.
