Comedian Chris D'Elia has been accused of sexually harassing numerous underage women. 😳

As someone who's been a trending topic on a few prior occasions, like when he impersonated Eminem freestyling, comedy fans may not have been too surprised to see, at first glance, that D'Elia was once again being talked about.

But after scrolling through a few tweets, many were appalled to see that D'Elia was being outed for pursuing underage girls after countless examples surfaced capturing his predatory behavior.

The spark appears to have come from Twitter user @girlpowertbh, who shared several screenshots of 2014 and '15 email chains between D'Elia and a girl named Simone Rossi, who was reportedly 16 years old at the time.

In one interaction, the 40-year-old comedian reaches out to Rossi to let her know that he's in Tempe, Arizona, and when she asks whether he'd like to meet up, he responds, "Yessss can we make out?"

Later, SheRatesDogs, a popular account "for girls to share their past shitty and laughable experiences in the dating world," received no less than 20 other examples of similar experiences with D'Elia submitted by victims.

As if these allegations weren't already disturbing enough, D'Elia has played the role of not one but two pedophiles on a pair of hit shows, Comedy Central's Workaholics and Netflix's You.

In a statement given to TMZ, D'Elia denied the rumors, saying he's "never knowingly pursued any underage women at any point." Here's his full response:

"I know I have said and done things that might have offended people during my career, but I have never knowingly pursued any underage women at any point. All of my relationships have been both legal and consensual and I have never met or exchanged any inappropriate photos with the people who have tweeted about me.

"That being said, I really am truly sorry. I was a dumb guy who ABSOLUTELY let myself get caught up in my lifestyle. That’s MY fault. I own it. I’ve been reflecting on this for some time now and I promise I will continue to do better."

Beyond the shock factor, many people didn't hesitate to condemn D'Elia and his disgusting alleged actions.
